Here’s a past interview from about 5 years ago with Helen De Michiel that I am finally getting around to posting back on my site.  It is on Internet Archive so wasn’t stranded in the internet neverland.

Since our conversation, Helen moved on from her work as NAMAC Co-Director to working in the transmedia space with her great project, LUNCH LOVE COMMUNITY.   She has also been writing on what she has called “Open Space Documentary” or documentaries that function as place for dialogue and participation.   Check out her article here which addresses the topic.   She is also Visiting Scholar at University of Oregon’s Arts and Administration program.
